UT Tyler student creates his own mobile coffee business

It’s the second most consumed beverage next to water and the second most traded good in the world, according to globalexchange.com. More than 1.6 billion cups are consumed everyday.

Before starting his own coffee business 22-year-old business major old Ricky Haggerty was not a coffee drinker. 

“My eyes have been opened up to the industry of coffee now that I’m in the business. I see how much people want it,” Haggerty said.

Haggerty is an independent distributor for Organo Gold coffee, one of the fastest growing Network Marketing companies in the world.

“Anybody can make tons of money from [distributing] if they see an opportunity for themselves,” Haggerty said.  “I saw an opportunity for myself so I started my own business.”
