Today was the day! I had to plan this one out to make sure I didn’t have to be going around to many places. Also, I needed to figure out the bus route and schedule. It was relatively easy! Really easy actually. Good times. If it wasn’t for the grimy seats/interior, I would consider going again. The bus home was even grosser. In fact, I didn’t notice it when I picked my seat, but someone must have eaten tamales or corn at my seat. The bus was sort of busy, so I didn’t want to switch seats. AND >> some guy came in carrying McDonald’s and proceeded to chow down not even hiding. I remember clearly reading there was no eating or drinking on the bus. When he left, his seat was all crumby and lettuce pieces left behind. That’s why the seats are gross. People eating and drinking.
It’s so crazy because when we were in Thailand, we only traveled on buses, trains, and tuk tuks and they were so clean! We need some public transportation pride.
While I was at work, I got kind of hungry and then Megan, my awesome fellow #CityChampion had favored poblano soup. She had no idea I was riding the bus and no idea how much I appreciated her sharing her yummy lunch with me. If you ever read this Megan, THANKS! Love you!
