In honor of Black History Month, Coastal Bend College Alice will have a celebration on Saturday, Feb. 23 with a guest speaker.
At 3 p.m., Liza Wisner will speak about her life and how her culture has played a role in the world.
Wisner is an inspiring international speaker, award-winning TV personality, radio show host and a training facilitator. She is also a business owner, CASA partner and a passionate entrepreneurship advocate.
There will be music and entertainment by Texas A&M Jazz Band, God’s Genesis, Alice High School Choir and Dinah Taylor, soloist.
The college is located at 704 Coyote Trail. The event is hosted by the Black History Committee.
