I work directly with executive leadership of various organizations to help drive their growth and delivery of learning and development services. I lead the development and delivery of technical, industry professional, learning, and leadership training for over 3,000 individuals annually.
I’ve been featured on NBC, The Apprentice with Donald Trump, Black Enterprise, Caller-Times Newspaper, Hungry Kids, Kenya Golf Guide, KRIS Channel 3, Texas Business Women, Jamhuri Magazine, Nation Newspaper, The Standard, People, AOL Jobs, Reaching Neighbors, and many many others.
I founded Texas Techies and PowerUp, successful organizations which deliver Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education to economically disadvantaged communities. I have worked hard to expand my organizations to include innovations such as a mobile computer bus and annual computer animation design and programming competitions.
I graduated college with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi earning a master’s degree of science in Educational Technology, along with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Management of Information Systems.
In addition to many awards, I have won an entrepreneur of the year award and was named “Corpus Christi Under 40, Person of the Year”.
Outside of work you can find me on the golf course or on the beach with my husband Denis Wisner, our three sons, Zaleik, Zamar, Zakai, and our dog Ziggy.

Award-winning television personality Mrs. Liza Wisner serves her community as a leadership and organizational development executive and a top 3 finalist on the television show, “The Apprentice”, with real estate billionaire Donald Trump.
Mrs. Wisner grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, and ventured to the United States on a golf scholarship representing Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s golf team. She previously won the Kenya National Championship title and represented Kenya at regional and international championships.
Mrs. Wisner is a business owner and passionate entrepreneurship advocate. Throughout the years and in her various positions, Mrs. Wisner has been fostering entrepreneurship in communities globally. With experience building and advising organizations, Mrs. Wisner is an internationally recognized leadership and development executive, speaker, radio show host, and training facilitator. By consistently consulting with businesses and bringing together young (and not so young) entrepreneurs, she has been pivotal in growing the synergy that makes communities great places to do business.
Mrs. Wisner works directly with individuals and executive leadership of many organizations to help drive their financial success. Her responsibilities include overseeing program launches, leadership coaching, and developing growth strategies as well as the management of business life-cycles. Mrs. Wisner also leads the development and delivery of technical, industry professional, learning, and leadership training for over 3,000 individuals annually with a focus on creating technology-rich environments where communities prosper.
Mrs. Wisner began her entrepreneurial journey as the founder and principal of Texas Techies and PowerUp, successful organizations, which deliver Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education to economically disadvantaged communities. She expanded her organizations globally and now includes innovations such as mobile entrepreneurship labs, animation programming competitions, and youth leadership camps.
Mrs. Wisner is a Coastal Bend CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) partner, Corpus Christi Metro Ministries Ambassador, Junior Achievement Volunteer, and a Magna Cum Laude National Scholars Honor Society member. She received the Texas A&M University’s 2010 Employee Excellence Award, the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce’s 2009 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Kenya Monitor Newspaper 2011 Jamhuriwood Ambassadorship Award, in 2010 was awarded a Certificate of Commendation from City of Corpus Christi Mayor and City Council for community advocacy, and in 2004 was named as Corpus Christi Under 40 Person of the Year.
